I am the owner of this forum. I'm married with six children 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. I taught 6th-grade US history and love RPG and wargames, but I've become too old and no one wants to play at my age. I'm here to find like-minded people to build the forum and make friends everywhere.

Hello.  I am Simon and I live in Derbyshire in England.  I like to play games that are simple and can be played on a 4 x 4 ft table or less.  I organise DBA tournaments but also like Command and Colours,  Fistful of Lead, One Hour Wargames variants (especially Martin Rapier's ones) and Bob Cordery's Portable Wargames and ACW Naval  Portable Ironclads.  Also any rules by Dan Mersey!

Hi. I am Martin S., live in Hampshire in the southern part of England, and have a similar list of ‘likes’ to Simon, who posted previously.
I play plenty of games on smaller tables, eg DBA and Hott, One Hour Wargames, Frostgrave and also the Rampant series by Dan Mersey, primarily using 15mm, but also occasionally venture into 28mm when forced (?) or 6mm and 2mm to save even more space.
OHSW is on my ‘next to read’ pile, and I’m intrigued to see where this forum leads on that front.

Hello Martin, welcome to the forum! You are most welcome and thank you as well. I'm hoping it will become a useful networking forum for everyone feeling a bit disconnected. I use the 28mm because they're easy to see and pick up with my fat fingers, but 15mm isn't so bad either. I also play Bolt Action
